FEMA representatives to present at conference
Friday, March 21, 2003 will be the final day for online and phone registration. After that day we will only accept on-site registration at the Ramada. No Exceptions.
FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) representatives will speak during Friday morning's general session of the Monolithic Dome Conference. FEMA's attendance at the conference will assist Monolithic in raising awareness of the Monolithic Dome's strength and disaster-resistance capabilities.The majority of attendees of the Monolithic Dome Conference are first time participants and approximately 20% are return attendees. It is our goal at MDI to keep the conference fresh, new and exciting for our first time attendees and veteran customers.

More speakers are being scheduled. Besides interesting breakout and general sessions, a reception will be held on Thursday evening and David B. South, president of the Monolithic Dome Institute will give the keynote address following Friday night's dinner.
The Monolithic Dome Builders Association (MDBA), now in its third year, will conduct meetings and elect officers during the conference. Vendors associated with the industry will also have booths at the conference.
The highlight for many attendees is the tour of MDI Headquarters in Italy, Texas on Saturday, March 29th. Attendees can see 'first hand' several dome homes, MDI offices, two gymnasiums, and even Bruco, the Airform manufacturing plant of Monolithic Constructors, Inc. attendees can drive themselves to Italy or purchase bus tickets for $10.00 per person.
Conference provides a great opportunity to network with builders, vendors, professionals and enthusiastic dome owners Early registration for the three-day conference is only $85.00 (until March 1, 2003)! This price includes the Friday evening dinner.
Early registration ends at midnight on February 28, 2003. The Conference price increases to $95.00 on March 1, 2003.
