Tomorrow's Building -- Available Today: A Presentation by David B. South

January 31, 2006

by Freda Parker

On Wednesday, February 8, 2006 David B. South, Monolithic's president, will present "Tomorrow's Building -- Available Today" to the members of the Technology Advocates of San Antonio (TASA), their guests and the general public.

According to its website (www.tasa.org) TASA began in 1998 when a group of San Antonio inventors and entrepreneurs began discussing how they could encourage others "to patent their ideas and/or start their own entrepreneurship."

Since its 1998 inception, TASA has increased its membership but retained its original goals. It now describes itself as "a member-driven nonprofit organization uniquely positioned to speak with one voice for the fast-growing technology community in San Antonio, Texas. ... Tasa has exercised strong leadership in advancing the case for technological competence in business, government and medicine in South Texas."

The public is invited to the Feb. 8th presentation, scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. at the San Antonio Technology Center. It's located at 3463 Magic Drive (north of Interstate 410, between Callaghan and Fredericksburg Roads). For more information visit: www.inventsanantonio.com
