Description: 124-foot diameter, 25’ high on 12’ stemwall. Full gymnasium, four locker rooms, rest rooms, 800 seats. Beautifully stuccoed exterior and synthetic glass block entryway.

Directions:

From Italy: Take Hwy. 34 out of Italy 7 miles. Dome will be visible on the left of town.
From Ennis: Take Hwy. 34 to Avalon (approximately 15 miles). Dome visible on the right near the school.

Note: This Dome will only be available for tour on Friday, October 14, 2011.

Most people really like what they see, hear and feel when they visit the recently completed St. Joseph Catholic Church in Commerce, Texas. And with its completion, the original church became the Parish Hall. “That was how we planned to do this right from the start,” Rev. George Monaghan said. “But that became one of our first challenges.” The pastor and his planning committee wondered what kind of a new structure would fit well with the old. They suspected that only something cornered and traditional would fit architecturally, but they wanted a structure that was energy-efficient, low maintenance, affordable and durable. Williams, 40 Point Productions presents a fictionalized story of a global media snafu: While news networks around the world are reporting on more than 100 American milestones from 2012 to 2017, an anonymous film director uploads a new feature film called “40 Point Plan.” That film recognizes the world’s current problems and presents solutions. Weather Channel to Feature Colorado Dome Home

Keith Wortman’s Monolithic Dome home in Fairplay, Colorado has made a lot of headlines over the years. The Denver Post, the Colorado Springs Gazette and even USA Today have featured the home, which has been christened Bristlecone Dome.
