Marilee & Larry Byrne’s home — This beautiful Monolithic Dome home has a 12-foot arched entry that opens onto the central living dome.
Front foyer — A ceramic tile floor and curved walls complete the front foyer. Light, flowing from the half-round window brightens the central, 40-foot dome.
Windows — Modern living room has a large central, augment opening onto the back patio. Concerned that one door wouldn’t offer enough light, Larry and Marilee added two slanted side windows.
Dining — This dream dome home has a formal and a casual dining area.
Custom-built cabinet — Built by a local cabinet company but sanded and stained by Marilee and Larry, this cabinet is the focal point of the office/study.
Enhancements — Artwork, flowing light and floral arrangements enhance this dome home.
Kitchen — It features a double-over, built-in stove, center island, generous cabinet space and a raised bar.
