Raymond Spence
Hello Michael, my name is Raymond Spence. I attended classes at Monolithic in Italy, Texas. I found Javier Figeroa to be very honest and extremely knowledgeable. He and all of the crew where easy to work with and gave me a good feeling about how the dome we worked on was being constructed. I too would have no problem having them stay in my home, with or without me being there. Thank you for bringing them to the attention of others who might have the opportunity to meet and or work with them. You can feel at home around them. Once again, thank you.

Michael J Carr, Mikes Custom Services
My name is Michael Carr and I own a company called Mikes Custom Services. I am writing this letter out of respect and admiration for the Figeroa Family ie. Javier, Blanca, Fransisco, & Monserat. I became aware of them through Monolithic, because I was building my first dome & they ( Monolithic ) generously offered to hire Javier out, to help me build my dome. What A Great move that was on my part. I was pleasantly surprised when I realized I was getting the whole family. Each one of them extremely capable at their perspective jobs. I have never met a kinder, more knowledgeable, and ambitious group of people in my life. They are welcome in my home any time with or without me being there. Monolithic could not ask for better representatives. I also want to say that I not only hired a world class crew, I hope I met some lifelong freinds. God Bless You Javier & Family & Thanks!
Sincerely,
Michael J Carr

I would like to give you my heartfelt thanks and blessings for helping me make my 30 year dream come true. I had a dream many years ago of building a home like you create but in 1986 when you first built the Emmet, Idaho High school, I realized that my dream would come true. I lectured in and fell in love with the Monolithic idea and visited your office in Idaho Falls a week later. Since then, my dream has never wavered. It was so strong that 19 years ago, when I met my wife to be, I told her that I was going to live in a dome and even drew pictures for her. Then 15 years ago, we bought 10 acres in this little town of Fairplay, Colorado and the day we bought it, I saw our house built there in my mind. For years, we would come up and work on the roads and building sites and then 2 years ago, we brought drawings of our house to the conference and sat down and started the process of building. I did all the earth work myself so we would not lose any big trees and built the massive high wall for the center dome. The dream was so strong that I didn’t trace the domes on the ground until I finished the dirt work. Maybe not smart but with 3 measurements, I did it anyway. A month before the crews arrived, I drew the circles and they were EXACTLY where I saw them in my mind. I owe everything to the Monolithic family and the South industries families for helping my dream come true. In 1 day under 2 months, we put up an 800sq’ shop and a 3770 sq’ house from digging the foundations to having the domes ready for the indoor work. Working with all of you has been a pleasure and look forward to long term friendships made in the process.
To say the domes are a piece of art is an understatement. You took our ideas, drawings, map headings and google pictures of the mountain views and put them together perfect. The domes are gorgeous! The entire South family has gone to all extremes to do things right so that we would be happy. Happy is not the word. We are THRILLED with the final product. We are working feverishly to complete the outside work on the property as well as the inside because winter has already reared it’s ugly head and it’s only early Oct.
If we aren’t in it by Christmas, we will be by very early next year. All of you at both companies will always be welcome to stop in or stay with us. We have an open door policy for our friends.
I would like to be able to share a lot of my photos with others who are interested in the monolithic domes. Let me know how to do this. We would be more than happy to have our home featured in any of your literature or advertising. People everywhere up here are talking about the domes and the " Bubble People". I believe in this technology so much that whatever we can do to help spread the word, just let us know. It is exciting for me to know that we are the leader in having the largest footprint for a home and that all the crews have said so many great things about our design and where it is located. The gothic arches hanging over the wall and the fact that they came attached to the airform make the entire building so unique. If anyone contacts you and wants to see our home in progress, do not hesitate to send them our way.
Many Thanks, Keith Wortman

It has been a distinct pleasure working with Monolithic and with South Industries. You and Larry Byrne were most helpful in the planning stages and I thank you. As a business owner, I recognize and appreciate professionalism and performance and your organization exhibits it in every way. You make the customer immediately comfortable in trusting you and the feeling continues to increase as the project progressses. You recommended South Industries as a builder and I could not be happier. Again professionalism and high level performance was the order of the day. Andrew was my first contact followed by Josh and then Nathan South was the project manager. Our family met his wife Emily and his young son Samuel and they all quickly came to be like family to us. They and their crew came over for barbeque with our family after work one day and we all enjoyed it. Great people to work with and we now value them as friends as well. Character and integrity really do count and Monolithic and South Industries ehibit it in every way. Thank you for being in the “good guys” group. I will send pictures and the local electric company is installing a meter for the HVAC system and I will report that as well. We are always open for an inspection by you or as a show and tell for your potential customers in the area. As they said in the old west, all of the Monolithic/South group is always welcome at my campfire. Thank you, it was a distinct pleasure and God Bless You all.
Dr. Ronnie Trice, Pastor – Maranatha Church, Mont Belview, Texas
I am the pastor of Marantha Church in Mont Belvieu, Texas. We constructed our dome facility in 1984 and have been very pleased with it and all of its benefits. It is extremely energy efficient causing our energy bills to be low. To date, our heater has never even been turned on. We only turn on our air conditioners for church services two days a week. The temperature in the dome on days when the air is turned off never fluctuates more than ten degrees, even in 100 degree weather. Because we have music in our services, we installed a fiberglass lay-in ceiling and carpeting some facial walls. I have no doubts in recommending this type of construction to anyone. If you have any other questions, please feel free to call my office at 281/576-2259.
Italy Independent School District
The energy savings for Italy I.S.D. in the new Monolithic Special Events Center has been substantial. The facility has been in use for a little more than two years and the cost for heating and cooling is approximately half the cost of the traditional gym in use. Energy costs are definitely a large part of any organizations budget and any way they can be reduced is very important. I would not hesitate to build another Monolithic structure of this nature if needed and I recommend Monolithic strucutures to inquisitive patrons all over the United States.

I think this has to be the most wonderful construction concept in centuries. My husband wanted to convince me of the benefits of having this type of construction. I was wary of the idea at first but after having explored your website I can’t wait to get more information and see about purchasing property for our first home which I want to be a Monolithic Dome. I can’t imagine living in a conventionally built home anymore and want to tell everyone I know and meet about domes and their benefits. I think we should all be living in one. Thank you for showing me my dream home.
Ace Apple Company – Yakima, Washington
“I’m from the Northwest: Yakima, Washington, where I have a lot of experience with controlled Atmosphere storage – in both construction and operation of the controlled atmosphere rooms.
Prior to actual operation I was having some personal doubts and concerns wit the new controlled atmosphere storage you built for California Ammonia Co.: Calamco Cold Storage.
Some of my personal doubts and concerns were" knowing consistent atmosphere/temperature is required for Granny Smith Apples. I had doubts with the capability of the Pull Down Time and the maintenance of the oxygen and carbon dioxide during the Holding Time. The stacking methods of the racks had me concerned wit the air flow. Especially sincere there was only one fan for air movement.
However, much to my delight and surprise, my doubts and concerns were needless. It all worked out to perfection.
All in all, I was very pleased with the dome for the quality work and storage….Personally, I sincerely hope you build more of these domes in the area. We are in need of this type of Controlled Atmosphere Storage in order to be more competitive in the Apple Industry."

“I just wanted to take this opportunity to properly thank you for your help in building our church….The acoustics are excellent in the building and we are so pleased with everything.
In general, our congregation seems very pleased with the way the dome “feels” to them….It is a very comfortable building, easy to cool and heat. I can recommend your work to any company or church considering the Dome construction."
I appreciate your honesty in our dealings, and it was a privilege to work with you."

Emmett High School – Emmett, Idaho
“I was nervous about the problems that this type of building would produce. After occupying the domes for four months, I am pleased to say it has been excellent.
It is a very efficient building for heating and cooling and creates a very warm atmosphere. The teachers and students have really enjoyed the complex. The noise level is amazingly low. We have found no problems with the three levels. Students like the openness that the atrium provides."
Sincerely,
Duane Horning, Principal

“It has been nearly one and half years since the completion of our 120-foot diameter dome. It has been everything you and others had told us it would be. Our maintenance costs have been nil. The dome has nearly 15,000 square feet of useable space on two floors and the heat bills are always half of our old building’s bill which has 6500 square feet. This past summer we turned on the air conditioner once or twice at the most…”
“I would highly recommend Monolithic Constructors to anyone else considering a dome building.”
Sincerely,

“We would recommend that anyone planning to build storage facilities, or other types of buildings that lend themselves to round structure, seriously consider Monolithic domes.
We can highly recommend that you consider using this unique type of building, designed and constructed by Monolithic."
Very truly yours,

“Mr. South, I want you to know that Monolithic Constructors has been very instrumental in making my vision a reality – “Dome City.” It is my prayer that the Cathedral and Dome of Restoration will be the light of our community where people from all cultures will come together to worship."
Bishop Gene A. Moore
Pastor
J.R. Simplot Company – Pocatello, Idaho
“Monolithic constructors has constructed two large Monolithic bulk storage domes for the J. R. Simplot Company at our manufacturing facilities near Pocatello, Idaho.
The first dome, 165’ in diameter was constructed in 1983-1984. Monolithic performed very well on that project with respect to all owner concerns. Because of a high degree of owner satisfaction with the product and the constructor, a second dome, 150’ feet in diameter was constructed in 1985. This too was a successful project from all owner concerns, including schedule, cost and general professional conduct.
We, the local management of the J.R. Simplot Company, are convinced that the Monolithic Dome method of construction is the most practical we have evaluated or used. We also recommend, without reservation, the services of Monolithic Constructors, Inc. to anyone considering such construction."
