Same Dome, Different Climates

Home of Wayne and Mildred Townsend in Reno, Nevada. A 43' x 18' with a 30'x13' garage. A 12' x 20' conventional sun room connects the two domes. The 2004 winter is recorded as the worst winter since 1916 in the Reno area. It brought an unusually generous amount of snow and extremely cold temperatures, but this hardly affected the Monolithic Dome. Temperatures in Reno go to extremes with summers in the 100's and winters below freezing.
